§ 11.04.13. Vending areas.

All vending on the public streets of Athens, Ohio, shall be conducted only on East Union Street between Court Street and College Street in designated and reserved vending spaces.

Vendor spaces which have been reserved shall be marked with appropriate signs to indicate that no other vehicle may park in the area from 4:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., except on Sundays.

Category "A" and category "B" license holders shall vend on the south side of East Union Street in reserved vending spaces between Court Street and the bus stop on the south side of East Union Street. No other vehicles may park in reserved vending spaces from 4:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All unoccupied reserved vending spaces are available for public parking after 4:00 p.m. reserved vending spaces will be designated by the code office. Vendors are not required to pay the meters for their vending equipment. Towing vehicles are not allowed in designated vending areas until after 4:00 p.m., at which time they are required to pay the meter.

No vending shall take place anywhere else on the public streets in the City of Athens.
