§ 45.04. Responsibilities of the board.

  • The historic preservation board shall make recommendations to city council regarding design guidelines, rules, and procedures for use in reviewing applications.

    (A)

    The board shall hold at least six meetings per year, held at regular intervals, in a public place, advertised in advance, and open to the public. Agendas for all meetings shall be published in advance. Public notice must be provided prior to any special meetings.

    (B)

    Rules and procedures, as established by the board, shall be made public.

    (C)

    Minutes of all meetings, actions, and decisions, as recorded by the board, shall be available for public inspection. Such minutes shall include the reasons for making decisions.

    (D)

    All decisions of the board shall be made in a public forum by a quorum of the board.

    (E)

    The board shall provide an annual written report of commission activities, cases, decisions, special projects, and qualifications of the members, etc. The report shall be kept on file and available for public inspection.
