Title 45. Historic and Architectural Preservation

§ 45.01. Establishment.

In recognition of the need for the establishment of a public body with authority to act upon changes to buildings and structures in designated historic districts and to protect and preserve historic and archaeological sites as established by Athens City Council, and in order to encourage changes that are compatible with the historic image of historic districts, the historic preservation board, hereinafter referred to as the board, is hereby established.
